New ANZ Pacific app launched

ANZ has announced the launch of its Pacific-wide mobile banking app, giving customers using Android phones, iPhones and iPads more flexibility to manage their money on the go.

ANZ PNG’s chief executive officer, Mark Baker, said: “We are fully committed to continuously improving our products and services and providing a seamless digital experience for our customers and today we are pleased to launch this new app.

“This ANZ Pacific app allows our customers to do their day-to-day banking easily and conveniently in a cost-effective and speedy manner.

“The app also has enhanced security features embedded which allows our customers to do their banking safely and securely.

“Providing our customers with a secure mobile banking app that gives them access to their money, no matter where they are, is part of our commitment to make banking simpler and easier.”

Baker added that customers must still be diligent with safeguarding their banking information.

“Please keep PINs confidential, change them regularly, lock your mobile device when it’s not in use and never share your PINs and passwords,” Baker urged.

Customers can use the ANZ Pacific App to pay bills, manage their everyday accounts, like ANZ Access Accounts and ANZ Access Premium, as well as their savings accounts, like ANZ Pacific Savings.

Key features of the app:

  • Check account balances
  • Check loan balances
  • View recent transactions for debit and credit cards
  • Transfer money between accounts

  • Transfer money to family and friends with ANZ accounts

The new ANZ Pacific App is also available in Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu.
