Dawn service in Nuku'alofa for ANZAC Day 2017

Members of the public are being invited to attend a dawn service in Nuku’alofa on Tuesday 25 April 2017 to commemorate ANZAC Day.

Tomorrow’s event will be the 102nd anniversary of the landing of ANZAC forces on the Gallipoli Peninsular during World War One.

The Australian High Commission in Nuku’alofa is inviting the public to attend the Dawn Service to remember those men and women from Tonga, Australia and New Zealand who have served and sacrificed in international conflicts.

The service will be held at the Cenotaph at Pangai Lahi, Nuku’alofa.

Guests are requested to be seated at 5:45am.

Members of the public will be invited to lay a wreath during the service should they wish to do so. Medals may be worn.
