Digicel Fiji CEO, Mike Greig said, “We are happy to support with cash sponsorship for the Savusavu Duavata Crime Free Festival this year. I would like to thank the organisers of the inaugural fete for giving us this opportunity and accepting our partnership for this great initiative. We have been supporting Duavata Crime Carnival in Labasa for a number of years now and we are happy to stretch our support to Savusavu and help promote crime prevention.”
Digicel Savusavu Duavata Crime Festival chief organiser, Joseph Wong said,” We are happy to work with Digicel to organize this fundraising event for the community. We are hoping to use this festival to raise money to purchase and install CCTV cameras in Savusavu town.”
The Festival is being organized in partnership with the Fiji Police Force. There will be various attractions during the week-long event including a fashion parade show, ferries wheels, children’s play center, food stalls and live band entertainment with Fiji’s Vude Queens, Laisa Vulakoro and her band on the last three evenings.
The Digicel Savusavu Duavata Crime Free Festival will be held at Narains Park, Savusavu from 15 to 22 December.
