Digicel Tonga is aiming to give back to the community after launching its ‘Light it up’ Christmas campaign.
Part of the initiative is that, the company promises to make it a memorable festive season for people of Tonga.
Digicel Tonga Management and Staff visited homes of 60 children with special needs across Tongatapu and delivered Christmas gifts to their door steps.
In the true spirit of Christmas, each child was gifted with a small gesture to light up their faces this Christmas.
The first home visited was to Malia Timote, 11 year old girl of Ha’alalo who is looked after by her 12 year old sister and her younger brother is 8 years old.
Malia’s mum was diagnosed with Diabetes and her dad suffered a stroke. The Digicel team was led by Digicel’s CEO, Anthony Seuseu.
The children identified are registered under Mango Tree Disability Centre and supported by Digicel Tonga.
