The first public event of the Miss Galaxy Pageant season with more than 10 contestants competing for the crown with a theme ‘Beauty of Oneness’ was held today.
CEO for Digicel Tonga, Mr Ben Kealy was proud to attend the opening of Tonga Leiti Association (TLA), Rainbow Market Day at the Digicel Square.
With activities, food stalls and local products were display at the Digicel Square today for the public who are keen to try and explore.
The TLA also gives the public heads up on the upcoming events of the Miss Galaxy and also the Pageant night on the 12th – 14th July.
Awards were also given to 3 students on an art competition base on this year’s theme ‘Beauty of Oneness’.
Vice President of the TLA mentioned that, this is a Market Day for all of Tonga, and its part of what they give back to the communities.
The Rainbow Market Day leaves the crowd with excitement on performances from the Filitonu boys and not forgetting Miss Galaxy 2009-2010 Miss Fatima Reynolds.
