Former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta gives Fifth Harmony advice after Camila Cabello leaves

Former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta believes "there's nothing healthy" about the continuing online posts from Fifth Harmony and Camila Cabello.

It's after Camila left the group on Sunday, but since the initial statement there's been a lot of back and forth on social media.

Jessica says losing a member of a group is like "losing a family member".

She saw bandmate Carmit leave the Dolls after their debut album, and she later did the same so can relate to both.

Speaking to Newsbeat she admits "it's all a mess" believing "there's nothing healthy about all this she said [this] and she said [that]".

When she read Camila had left Jessica says it broke her heart and, "speaking from experience" encourages them to keep in contact.

"It would be good if they could all get in a room and talk," she explains.

That's not something she's been able to do with all of the Pussycat Dolls, but says she still keeps in touch with them.

Since Camila left Fifth Harmony, audio has appeared online of what's that to be bandmate Lauren Jauregui saying the group were being worked "like slaves".

It's something their management haven't yet commented on.

"Welcome to the business," Jessica laughs.

"Behind the scenes it's very difficult. We're in one of the most insane, most cutthroat businesses, and they do work you like slaves.

"It's very tough. You're working on very little sleep, you're working on very little food, you're constantly busy."

She admits "it sounds crazy" to says "it's a hard life" but believes "because it's such an extraordinary experience people underestimate [it]."
