Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first photo as a couple is finally here

The wait is over!

The very first photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a couple has finally surfaced and it speaks volumes.

The Sun claims that the images of the new couple were taken after the prince and the Suitsstar were leaving a theater date in London last week.

After scoring tickets to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the Apollo Theatre, Meghan and Harry took an evening stroll through the neighborhood and enjoyed the Christmas lights.

The publication claims that the couple was accompanied by one royal police protection officer.

A source told the magazine, "They were clearly not afraid to be seen in public together."

The twosome wore matching beanies and stayed bundled up in the cool night and appeared to be enjoying some quality time together after his blink-and-you-could-have-missed-it trip to Toronto.

E! News reported that the royal stopped by his leading lady's home last week and the 35-year-old was last seen picking up flowers and attending a yoga class near her home in Canada.

Just one day ago, however, Meghan hopped aboard a plane to visit her boyfriend in London before the holiday season kicked off.

The American actress has yet to publicly speak about her relationship, however, the palace released a powerful message in the wake of "abuse and harassment" that Meghan had faced since the news of their relationship was made public.

"Some of this has been very public—the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments."

The letter continued, "It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm."

The prince "has asked for this statement to be issued in the hopes that those in the press who have been driving this story can pause and reflect before any further damage is done."

News that the duo were officially a couple first began swirling back in October of this year.
