Joseph Parker has described his upcoming boxing match with British heavyweight Dillian Whyte as a war.
Parker will face Whyte in London this Sunday in his first fight since his loss to Anthony Joshua in March.
He told Sky Sport UK Whyte is one of the toughest competitors in the heavyweight division.
"I want to make a statement, I want to be dominant in this fight.
"In order to be champion again I have to fight these great challenges and also to cement my place at the top. It's important to fight good, to fight smart but look great as well," Parker said.
Parker's team had raised concerns about the officials for Sunday's heavyweight clash against Whyte in London following the performance of Italian ref Giuseppe Quartarone in his loss to Anthony Joshua in March.
However Parker said his team has done well with this referee.
"I think they've (manager David Higgins and trainer Kevin Barry) come up with neutral officials so as long as they're happy I'm happy.
"I'm just looking forward to just getting in the ring. He is a good ref so I think everyone's happy," Parker said.
Parker and Barry touched down in London last week, after an eight-week camp at their training base in Las Vegas.
On being back in the UK, Parker said he was relaxed about facing Dillian Whyte in his own backyard.
"This is familiar territory to us, we've got a good set up here with the hotel we're staying at so we're settled and well.
"(I'm) just finishing off the camp here now to get ready for fight day," Parker said.
