Tonga to host 2020 South Pacific Body Building Championship

The Tonga Body Building Federation has been granted the rights to host the 26th South Pacific Body Building Championship.

The competition will be held from 22-25 October, 2020.

The Pacific kingdom displayed a strong performance at this year’s championship, which was held in New Caledonia last month.

Tonga won 3 Gold medals, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals.

Piokalafi Tuione Nai won gold medal in the Men’s over 100kg division and Unaloto Tavalea scooped two gold medals in the Men’s under 100kg and the Men’s Sports Physique in height over 170cm division.  

Taiami Siliva Tu’ifua won silver medal in the Men’s under 90kg while Samuela Kata Ta’ofi of Liahona High School scooped two bronze medals in the Junior Body Building and Junior Physique divisions.

Sione Manu took home bronze medal in the Men’s Body Building under 100kg division.
