The duo, Diego Maximo and Marcelo Oliveira arrived in Honiara last Thursday and made an impressive performance in their first appearance.

Feeling excited about their first appearance they assured the club that they are now part of the team and will make sure to help the team win the Telekom S League and qualify for the OFC Champion League.

“We want to let you know that we are very happy to be here and be part of the team.

“I know how strong this team is because I have played against you guys in the OFC champion league,” Maximo told his team mates.

The duo, Diego Maximo and Marcelo Oliveira are expected to arrive in Honiara on July 27^th.

Both players have been playing for Digicel Amicale FC of Vanuatu in 2016 and were recently loaned out to Rewa FC of Fiji to help them in their OFC championship leagues early this year.

Maximo and Oliveira’s inclusion will strengthen the backline and midfield of Marist FC, who is vying to defend its title and qualify for the OFC championship.
