Quentin Tarantino: Uma Thurman car crash was a 'horrendous mistake'

He said he drove the car in one direction to test it, but then asked Thurman to drive it the other way.

He said he didn't realise there was a twist in the road coming back. Thurman posted footage of her crash on Monday.

The director said failing to test the route one more time was "one of my most horrendous mistakes".

Thurman suffered neck and knee injuries in the accident.

In a New York Times interview published over the weekend, Thurman said she had worries about the state of the car, but that Tarantino had persuaded her to go ahead with the scene.

Jessica Falkholt: Home and Away star's sister dies in crash

Annabelle, 21, died in a Sydney hospital on Friday. Jessica, 28, who appeared on TV soap Home and Away in 2016, remains in a critical condition.

The family were caught up in a two-car highway collision on Boxing Day near Ulladulla, New South Wales.

Their parents and the driver of the other car died at the scene.

The horror crash has made headlines across Australia, with police calling it "an absolute tragedy".

Annabelle's boyfriend had shared a Snapchat picture of them both shortly after the crash, asking for prayers and support.

Harvey Langi visits wife after crash

They hadn’t seen each other in the three days since the accident that left them both with severe injuries.

Cassidy began to cry upon seeing Langi, who crutched his way into the hospital room before limping to her bedside in his walking boot.

“I’m sorry it took me forever to come see you,” he said and gave her a hug. “I love you so much.”

Langi and his wife were rear-ended late on Friday night and were sandwiched in the three-car accident.

Car crashes into fence outside Tongan church in South Auckland

Some church members of the Free Wesleyan church were examining the crash when Kaniva News took photos at the scene.

It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries and when the crash happened.

Tongan man dies in car crash in Hawaii

The crash occurred on Wednesday morning (local time) when a Toyota 4Runner occupied by two men traveling north collided with a Nissan Titan, occupied by a man and woman traveling south, according to Hawaii police.

West Hawaii Today reports both vehicles subsequently burst into flames.

Police say the driver of the 4Runner was passing several vehicles on the highway.

Car ploughs into pedestrians in Times Square

Witnesses said the motorist drove a burgundy Honda sedan against traffic and onto the footpath and sped along more than three city blocks, knocking people over.

The car crashed into a pole and came to rest at 45th Street and Broadway before police took the driver away.

Authorities said there was no indication it was an act of terrorism.

Driver who caused death of Tongan pregnant mum in Utah charged

Nephi Adelino Makaya, 26, was charged in 3rd District Court with manslaughter, a second-degree felony, and driving on a revoked license, a class C misdemeanor.

He was cited for not having proof of insurance and not having his vehicle registered, said Deputy Salt Lake County District Attorney Sandi Johnson.

After the July 25 2016 crash, Makaya’s blood tested positive for methamphetamine and marijuana, according to charging documents.

Police Officer investigated for road crash in Tonga

The officer was allegedly driving his own vehicle heading west on Hihifo Road when it crashed into a fence and a power pole at 2:00am.

Tonganow Online reports no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The investigation continues according to Deputy Commissioner Pelenatita Fe’ao Vaisuai.

     

17 year old crashes car into hotel fence in Tonga

Tonga Police allege that inexperience in driving might have been a contributing factor to the crash.

Tonganow online reports the incident occurred just after 2:00am.

The driver, a male, has been charged with reckless driving and driving without a licence.
