On Monday the dancer, best known for choreographing the routine in Justin Bieber's 'Sorry' music video, took to Twitter to slam a fan who said she was "pretty snobbish" when they met. 

"Met Parris Goebel last week...pretty snobbish...my sister met her at Krispy Kreme today and even agreed lol i was like "i told ya so"..look what a lil fame does (sic)," the person wrote. 

The tweet triggered a tirade from Goebel, who wrote a series of tweets about her struggles in the public eye, targeted at her critics. 

The South Auckland star, who is of Samoan descent, has been successfully leading the way in New Zealand's hip-hop industry, working with artists such as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. 

Goebel says she's finished the book and is looking to release it in March 2018.

"I've been writing it this whole year, secretly, which has been quite painful cos I've wanted to say something about it for so long," she says. "Just been writing about my life, challenges and lessons that I've learnt and really cool stories that people would not know of."

Alo, who is President of Samoa Arts Council, passed away after a battle with cancer on Tuesday.

The council’s Vice President, Vanya Taulelo says it is a great loss for the council and Pacific as a whole as Alo worked hard for arts and Pacific culture.

“Allan (Alo) worked tirelessly for the arts and especially for the performing arts as he was passionate about his Samoan culture and the culture of the Pacific people.”
