Drake

AI-generated Drake and The Weeknd song goes viral

Called Heart On My Sleeve, the track simulates the two stars trading verses about pop star and actress Selena Gomez, who previously dated The Weeknd.

BBC reports the creator, known as @ghostwriter, claims the song was created by software trained on the musician's voices.

"This is just the beginning," they wrote under the song's YouTube video.

"We really are in a new era," responded one listener in the comments. "Can't even tell what's legit or fake anymore."

Beyoncé, Drake and the revival of 90s house music

The foundation of her new sound actually dates back to the diva house movement of the 1990s, with its deep grooves, soaring melodies and insistent four-four beats.

She even shares the writing credits with Allen George and Fred McFarlane, composers of the timeless house classic Show Me Love for Robin S.

Weirdly, Break My Soul neither samples nor quotes their song. It simply uses the same bass sound, a preset on the infamous Korg M1 keyboard. But Beyoncé has always been careful to acknowledge the black creators who have influenced her.

Drake calls for Grammys to be replaced after The Weekend is snubbed

"I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards," said the star.

"This is a great time for somebody to start something new that we can build up over time and pass on to the generations to come."

The Grammys have yet to respond.

Drake was speaking after The Weeknd was overlooked in Tuesday's nominations. The star, whose album After Hours is the year's best-selling record in the US, was widely expected to feature in the album of the year and song of the year categories.

Video of Drake kissing and groping teen girl on stage sparks outrage

The clip, which was filmed some years ago according to the Daily Beast, shows the 'Hotline Bling' rapper getting up close and personal with a young woman he pulled on stage during a concert.

After commenting on the unnamed fan's hair, Drake pulls her shirt to the side before kissing her on the neck and wrapping his arms around her chest, while the crowd erupts in cheers.

"Y'all going to have me get carried away again," he tells the audience.

"I get in trouble for shit like this!"

"He loves acting, of course he wanted a part. He's going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it."

Fans furious as Drake postpones same gig for the third time

The doors had already opened for the show and the Ziggo Dome was full.

According to the promoter, the Canadian rapper was advised not to perform by a doctor after falling ill.

"I'm really sorry to tell you that tonight's gig cannot take place. Drake got sick. His doctor told him not to perform."

The postponed show has been moved to Wednesday night instead.

This is the third time the Amsterdam show has been cancelled.

His performances on 20 and 21 January were initially moved to 26 and 27 January. But they were postponed again until 27 and 28 March.

Drake's new More Life 'playlist' album boosts UK music

Skepta, Giggs, Sampha and Jorja Smith all feature on the rapper's 22-track project.

More Life debuted on Apple's iTunes Radio, where it was played in full, a move other radio stations around the world followed.

It meant millions of listeners being introduced to new UK talent.

The platform and exposure Drake has given the four UK acts is something that record labels spend millions, and hire whole departments, trying to achieve.

And that's often with little success.

Drake offers free gig after Travis Scott fell into a hole

The 24-year-old was joining the Canadian as a special guest on his Boy Meets World tour.

He was performing Goosebumps when he tripped into the cavity in the middle of the stage, damaging part of the set.

He disappeared for a few seconds before Drake helped him back out.

Travis didn't seem hurt but apparently it meant a huge globe was broken and couldn't come out on stage.

This Instagram picture shows how the globe should have looked...

Drake then told fans he was doing this "for free tonight" and he'd "deal with it later".

Drake presents Rihanna with award and says he loves her

But they didn't just present it to her...They gave Drake the stage to do so, and his introduction was almost too precious for our hearts to handle.

He recalled the first moment he met the Barbadian singer—in 2005, while working as an extra on her "Pon de Replay" music video. He commended her fashion and her ability to remain true to herself. But most importantly, he dropped the L-word...and we all basically died.
