James Arthur: 'I thought I was going to die on stage'

The X Factor winner thought he was sick with the flu, but things took a turn for the worse on stage and he tells Radio 1 Newsbeat he's "never been more scared".

James found out he had a gallbladder infection and needed emergency surgery.

After the scare, James says it took a month of "intensive therapy" before he could get back on stage.

"I had really bad anxiety," he tells Newsbeat about performing while he was sick. "I thought I was gonna die on stage, it was weird."

Unbeaten tour a big boost for 'Ikale Tahi

The 'Ikale Tahi recorded just their fifth victory over a top tier nation as they upset Italy 19-17 in Padua.

The result built on earlier victories against Spain and the United States and marked the first time Tonga had gone undefeated on an end of year tour.

Head coach Toutai Kefu said the final performance had been building all tour.

"We had our best training week that week leading into the Italian test and we weren't too happy as a group with the way that we played in the games against Spain and USA," he said.

USA enjoying having Tiger, even without a golf club

Wednesday marked the second day of practice rounds at Hazeltine National Golf Club, and Woods was once again an accessible presence on the course for players to talk to for advice.

Woods followed the group consisting of Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed, Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar for the second straight day, but players outside of that pod have enjoyed his presence as well.

Phil Mickelson spoke about Woods' influence in the locker room, and his desire to help the team play their best golf.
