Athletics world governing body has now annulled Ostapchuk's results from 2005 to 2012.

Ostapchuk lost the 2012 Olympic gold after failing a doping test and she has since had further titles taken away from her.

Adams manager Nick Cowen says he expects the 2010 world indoor gold medal to now be forwarded to the Aucklander.... giving her 10 global titles.

It also means Adams' unbeaten run in the shot-put improves from 56 to 107 events.

Foreign Minister Murray McCully said "the new role of Pacific Sports Ambassador will allow New Zealand to further develop our strong sporting links with the region."
