TikTok singer Amy Hawkins, 110, becomes viral sensation

Amy Hawkins' rendition of the popular World War One song It's A Long Way to Tipperary was captured by her great-grandson on her milestone birthday.

Since then Sacha, 14, has clocked up 100,000 views of the video.

Ms Hawkins, of Monmouth, was a performer and at Sacha's age toured the UK - but her mother banned her from the stage, as it was not "respectable".

Sacha's mother Hannah Freeman, said the reaction to the video on the social-media site has "restored faith in humanity".

Man captures video of being chased by an otter

Rory MacPherson's video has now been viewed tens of thousands of times on Facebook.

In it he can be heard laughing as the wild animal tries to bite his feet.

But when the 24-year-old tries to escape to his car, the otter follows him at full pelt, and he shouts: "I'm being chased by an otter!".

Mr MacPherson, from Lockerbie, said he came across the animal "jumping about the road" near the Kagyu Samye Ling monastery at Eskdalemuir on Monday.

Police in Yangjiang in the southern province of Guangdong said in a statement that a 29-year-old woman surnamed Chen was being investigated after the video went viral.

She lives with the girl's grandfather, a 50-year-old widower surnamed Ye. Chen told police that she started the scooter to scare the girl, who didn't want to leave home with the rest of the family.

She said that she accidentally ran over the girl's legs, but later checked and found that the girl wasn't seriously injured. The police statement said the girl suffered leg injuries.

Students' 'build a wall' chant goes viral

Shot in a school cafeteria at Royal Oak Middle School, just outside Detroit, you can hear seventh grade students shouting, "Build a wall! Build a wall!" the day after Donald Trump won the presidency.

The chant matches what many of Donald Trump's supporters yelled throughout the presidential campaign whenever the Republican candidate, at rallies, promised to build a wall along the US-Mexico border.
