World Children’s Day

Global issues deeply concern children

Findings of the survey were released today in commemoration of World Children’s Day, which is observed on November 20 annually.

The issues affecting children include violence, terrorism, conflict, climate change, unfair treatment of refugees and migrants and poverty.

Key findings from the survey show that half of children across all 14 countries report feeling marginalised when asked how they felt when decisions were made that affect children around the world.
