Young mom wins Digicel promo

This Christmas will not be the same for young Josephine Wani and her one-year-old son, thanks to Digicel PNG.

Wani, a cashier who works at Eriku in Lae, is the lucky winner of K1,000 on November 27th with Digicel’s Christmas daily cash and prize giveaways.

The excited mother of one said: “Displa mani em blo pikinini blo mi (this money will be for my son). Mi bai kisim go lo kisim wanem kain presen em laikim lo em.” (I will get him whatever present he wants.)

Digicel PNG Senior Vice President & Chief Sales Officer, Lorna McPherson, said: “Congratulations to all of our daily K1,000 winners to date and we hope the prize money will help you with your festive season celebrations with your families. There are still plenty of incredible cash and prizes to be given away daily and the grand prize of K50,000 cash will be drawn on the 21st of  December. ”

The other daily K1000 winners from November 26th – December 7th are: Junior Cosmas of Alotau, Carol Elly of Kokopo, Carolyn Bale of Kiunga and Leonides Fernandez, Willy Worimbangu, Malosi Maso Ila, Maniye Kaipel and James Phopo of Port Moresby.

Lorna added: “To be a lucky winner, customers can simply spend K4 or more from your prepaid phone or pay your post-paid bills in full and on time or buy a TV plan this Christmas. Customers can dial *222# to check their daily entries. The more they spend, the more their chances of winning. Christmas is a time of giving and we also have amazing smartphones on specials that come with free data.”

Customers get unlimited data for 3 days when they purchase a Wowi 4G LTE or DTOK 4G LTE smartphone each for K199. They also get one gigabyte free data to use for 3 days when they buy a Wowi 3G smartphone for only K155.
Upon purchase of any of these three smartphones, customers are also automatically entered into a draw to win K1000 and 200 product prizes daily plus a chance at winning the grand prize of K50, 000.

Previous winners so far are McMou Kelepi of Mt Hagen, Bogan Wally and Evelyn Bart from Madang, Melanie Suii of East Sepik, Alois Gaglu of Port Moresby, Peter Sapsi, Frank Samson and John Thomas of Lae.

There is also a social media competition in all Digicel stores nationwide that allows customers to engage and have fun during the festive season. They can simply take a picture or selfie with the Digicel Christmas cut-outs in stores, post it on their wall, #DigicelChristmasishotter and tag the Digicel PNG Facebook page. Posts with most likes or reactions win free credits every week until the end of the Christmas season.
