Tonga PM back at work after treatment

Tonga's Prime Minister 'Akilisi Pohiva is back in the office this week after returning from medical treatment in New Zealand.

Mr Pohiva returned to Tonga on Saturday after a second stage of his treatment, originally set for last week, was rescheduled.

A spokesman for the Prime Minister said Mr Pohiva is continuing to take medication but will return to New Zealand in June for a reassessment.

On 8 May the Prime Minister underwent the first stage of his treatment at Auckland's Mercy Hospital for a liver complication.
