It’s a Ma’alahi Christmas in Tonga

Digicel took the streets of Nuku’alofa’s CBD Friday afternoon with a Santa Parade involving the entire team of Digicel.

This was an effort to spread the good Christmas spirit amongst the community, especially families and children.

The Santa Parade was followed by fun games and activities with food stalls at the popular Digicel Square.

The event attracted hundreds of people and activities included bouncy castles, face painting, spin-the-wheel, colouring and dance competitions. 

The programme which started at 4pm had children on the centre stage performing dances.

Digicel’s Santa gave out goodie bags to more than 300 children.

This was followed by live performances from the popular US-based Tonga Sisters, Bourke family choir, 4am Tokou, Georgina and crew.

The Digicel sales team was also present to assist customers upgrade their sims to 4G.

Digicel’s Chief Executive Officer, Francis Thomsen lit the Christmas tree.

Families can now enjoy the Digicel Square with the Christmas tree for great photos this festive season.
