Authorities say Yemen's exiled prime minister has returned to the country's war-torn city of Aden, months after a Saudi-led airstrike campaign began against Shiite rebels there.
Aden's airport chief Tarek Abdu Ali says Yemen Prime Minister Khaled Bahah landed in Aden with six ministers on Saturday.
A Yemeni official says Bahah will chair a Cabinet meeting later Saturday that will be attended by seven other government ministers already in Aden. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief journalists.
The fighting in Yemen pits the Shiite rebels known as Houthis and troops loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh against southern separatists, local and tribal militias, Sunni Islamic militants and loyalists of exiled President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, who is now in Saudi Arabia.
