The Ministry of Internal Affairs received a container load of donated goods from the Heilala Charity in Nuku’alofa.
The container was given to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who then coordinated its distribution to different organisations including the Ministry of Health, National Retirement Fund Office and the MIA’s Social Protection and Disabilities Division.
Included in the donated items were clothes, office chairs and others.
The Social Protection team will work on the distribution of this later on in the week.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mrs Ana Bing Fonua was on hand to inspect the items and receive it on behalf of her Ministry on Tuesday.
