Patients admitted at the Pediatric Ward in Vaiola Hospital were excited when Tongan popular singer Dinah Jane stopped by for a visit.
Dinah Jane is a member of the popular Fifth Harmony group.
Speaking to Radio and Television Tonga News she says, this is part of her many visits while in Nuku’alofa.
During her visit yesterday, the patients were fortunate to hear and watch Dinah sing live at the Ward.
She also encouraged the youth of Tonga to never give up on their dreams.
“Always follow your dreams never give up and never doubt yourself and know that no matter what anybody says that you are better than that and just keep encouraging yourself with positive comments, keep complimenting yourself it’s confidence, everything comes with confidence and come over any challenges that you come pass.”
Dinah Jane visited Tonga from New Zealand after a little tour with her group, to visit family and friends.
Dinah first made her appearance during her audition for The X Factor to Beyonce’s single – If I Were A Boy.
She was then picked to join the all girls five members group – Fifth Harmony, which was formed in the second season of The X Factor USA in 2012.
Dinah Jane was born and raised in Orange County California and has ties to Ha’ateiho, Fo’ui, Tongatapu and Vava’u.
Dinah arrived at the Fua’amotu International Airport on Saturday and is expected to return to the US on Thursday.
