The Queen is celebrating her 90th birthday on Thursday, but there's a high probability another royal personality may steal her thunder.
New photographs of the British royal family have been released to celebrate the Queen's birthday and Royal Mail, the UK postal service, will be using these pictures on its ten special stamps.
One of the highlights of the stamp sheets is one which features the four generations of the House of Windsor, photographed by Ranald Mackechnie for Royal Mail.
Posing for the camera are The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and an extremely charming Prince George.
The happy portrait was taken in the White Drawing Room of Buckingham Palace last summer.
According to the Daily Telegraph there have been regular stamps marking important royal birthdays but not as quite as special as this.
Four monarchs stretching over two millennia, three centuries and 177 years, going all the way to the Princess Elizabeth of York who was born in 1926, have been included.
Instead of being perched on someone's lap, Prince George was allowed a little bit of freedom in posing alongside his dad, grandfather and great-grandmother.
According to photographer Mackechnie, there was initial difficulty of height difference between the members of the royal family.
This was resolved by making the young royal stand on a pile of foam blocks to achieve the perfect aesthetic appeal for his first ever official postage stamp photograph.
Six further stamps have also been issued. Three of these focus on Her Majesty's family life, and the other three focus on her work, life and dedication to the country
The set features images of The Queen with her father as well as attending the State Opening of Parliament in 2012.
She can also be seen alongside her children, Princess Anne and Prince Charles in 1952, visiting New Zealand in 1977, alongside The Duke of Edinburgh in 1957, as well as being with Nelson Mandela back in 1996.
The postage stamp release also marks the postal service's 500th anniversary.
