A look inside Bill Cosby’s prison cell

New photos give a revealing look at the basic prison cell where Bill Cosby will spend the first few weeks of his three to 10 year sentence for aggravated indecent assault.

Following his sentencing, Cosby was transferred to Phoenix's State Correctional Institute (SCI), a maximum security prison.

On his first day in the facility, the legally blind 81-year-old reportedly had a hot dog bun thrown at his face, and fell down some stairs because he wasn't being guided.

Cosby is being kept in isolation and has not yet been assigned a bunkmate out of concern for his safety.

"We are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure Mr Cosby's safety and general welfare in our institution," Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Secretary John Wetzel said in a statement.

Wetzel added that the "long term goal" was for the disgraced comedian to eventually be integrated into the prison's general population.

Radar Online reports he has already earned the nickname 'The OG', which stands for 'Original Gangster' from his fellow inmates, but it doesn't appear that he'll be receiving the star treatment.
