Studio filming new Anne Hathaway movie, The Witches, locked down after stabbing on set

A British film studio currently working on a new Anne Hathaway movie went into lockdown on Wednesday after a worker was stabbed in the neck.

The injury reportedly happened after a brawl between a stage hand and a rigger at Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire, according to the Daily Mail.

The studio is famous for filming the Harry Potter films and is one of the biggest in the UK.

The crew involved in the fracas is working on The Witches, a remake of the 1990 film based on Roald Dahl's classic story. Octavia Spencer and Chris Rock also star in the film, which features Hathaway as the Grand High Witch.

It is not know whether any of the stars were on set when the stabbing occurred.

The injured man was taken to hospital and the other man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grevious bodily harm, according to Hertfordshire police.
