Tonga Netball selects squad for final trial

The Tonga Netball Team has selected its squad for another training camp after the selection tour through NZ, Tonga and Australia.

The team will go into camp and select it’s final line-up for the Pacific Games, next month.

Head Coach Jaqua Heddle says the preparation camp gives her an opportunity to see the capabilities for every individual players.

“A squad training camp is an excellent opportunity to experiment with playing combinations, see how players connect with each other and find a good balance. Players also need to make the most of this opportunity and put their best foot forward for final team selection.”

Heddle adds there have been a few changes, and addition of a few players to make the 16 players who will be in the final selection camp in June.

Meanwhile, the girls that were selected for next camp session are;

Amy Latu, Lavinia Lavea, Marie Hansen, Michelle Katoa, Mena Sinisa, Anipa Sisi, Loumaile Manumu’a, Senivunga Lafo'ou, Uneeq Sokopeti Palavi, Lesieli Moala, Asinate Kolofo'ou, Peti Talanoa, Amenda Payne, Luana Aukafolau, Hinalei Latuvuki and Malia Harrison.
