But, now, the pair are reportedly not as close as before.

Appearing on Australia's "Today" to promote her new book "The Secrets of my Life," Jenner said she and Kardashian West are not in contact currently.

But she does not regret her decision to vote for Donald Trump, she told CNN's Don Lemon on Tuesday.

"As far as LGBT issues, yes, he's made some mistakes," she said. "I don't support him in everything that he does. But we needed to shake the system up."

But the reality star says there is no "handbook" on how someone should tell their family.

Caitlyn, who used to be known as Bruce Jenner, announced her gender change in a television interview back in April 2015.

Khloe says she now understands it wasn't an easy thing for her stepmother to do that.

"It's not that I'm angry that Bruce was transitioning to Caitlyn," she told ES Magazine.

During the young singer's interview for her Marie Claire cover story, Cyrus revealed that Jenner considers her as a friend, and that the two have bonded over Caitlyn's highly publicized transition.

"We've talked a lot about how you can never make every single person happy," Miley tells the mag for their September issue.

"We always laugh about people saying she transitioned to be famous. Which is crazy. Caitlyn has to tell her story, because if she doesn't, everyone else is going to tell it for her."
