Ed Sheeran adds two new shows to his New Zealand tour

Sheeran previously announced the + - = ÷ x Tour (pronounced The Mathematics Tour) would make it to NZ in February 2023.

The Bad Habits singer has today added an extra show at Wellington’s Sky Stadium on Wednesday, February 1, ahead of Thursday’s sold out gig.

Eden Park in Auckland hosts an additional show on Saturday, February 11, following the sold out set the night before.

Sheeran then heads to Australia for a series of stadium concerts across the Tasman.

New Zealand's Ministry of Health has given the entire touring party a final warning after some of them breached isolation conditions at their quarantine hotel in Christchurch.

Six of the team have now tested positive for Covid-19.

Shoaib was upset by the inference that New Zealand Cricket is considering the tour could be called off.

Michael Buble announces one New Zealand show at Mission Estate

The jazz singer will bring a 36-piece orchestra to the winery on Saturday February 1, 2020. 

An Evening with Michael Buble will be held days before Sir Elton John performs two Mission Concerts, on Thursday February 6 and Saturday February 15.  

It's been six years since Buble was last in New Zealand. 

"I'm really excited to be heading back on tour and to play for my New Zealand audience again," Buble said statement.

Tonga being discussed as part of major tour in Oct by Prince Harry and Meghan

A high-profile trip to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga in October is being discussed at the highest level and aides are promising that the second half of this year will be ‘incredibly busy’ with official visits.

Celine Dion to tour Australia and New Zealand this year

The show will mark Celine’s return to Australia for the first time in a decade, playing in arenas in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne.

It will also be her first visit to New Zealand in over two decades with the final stop of the tour scheduled for Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday 11 August.

Celine Dion has sold almost 250 million albums during her over a 30‑year career.

She has earned five Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards and seven American Music Awards.

Tickets will go on sale online from the 19th of February.

     

Pumas lose Jeronimo De la Fuente for rugby tour to New Zealand, Australia

De la Fuente, who missed the away defeat and home win against South Africa this month, was included on Monday in the squad that will travel on Friday but has now dropped out.

He is replaced in the 28-man squad by Gabriel Azcarate, who could make his tournament debut if called into action during the away Tests, the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR) said.

Coach Daniel Hourcade said that De la Fuente had failed a medical before praising the Pumas' form.

Prince Charles reunited with nursery nanny in Nelson

 More than 17,000 kilometers and 60 years on from where it all began, Prince Charles was reunited with the woman who cared for him as a baby at Clarendon House.

Jacqui Botting, 92, lives in a care home opposite a Nelson research centre the Prince was visiting as part of his New Zealand tour, and had been sitting under a nearby tree in the hope of seeing him.

New Zealand-born Botting looked after Prince Charles and his sister Princess Anne in the early 1950’s, before she returned to marry.
