A week after making his test debut against Argentina, the Western Province rake was roundly castigated for his petulance in Western Province's match against the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday (Sunday NZ time).

The 28-year-old slapped the ball away as the ball boy presented it to him before Ntubeni threw to a lineout with Western Province leading 33-19.

His mood was hardly improved as his side crashed to a 38-33 defeat and missed a Currie Cup semifinals berth.

The flanker played no part as the Springboks won the Rugby Championship for the first time in a decade due to a knee injury.

South Africa director of rugby Rassie Erasmus on Monday revealed Kolisi will feature against the Pumas at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria this weekend.

"He is a guy we desperately want to be involved on Saturday and we will involve him, but it will be limited minutes," said Erasmus.

"We won't rush him – we need to carefully manage his return."

The tactical cat and mouse that comes with most lead-in Tests to the showpiece tournament in Japan won't apply on Saturday at Westpac Stadium as the two heavyweights get set to field teams at close to full strength.

Hanging over the contest is last year's result at the same venue which the Springboks won 36-34.

Retallick says there's no way he could forget that result, one of just four losses he has experienced in his 76 tests in an All Blacks jersey.

The Rugby Championship Test in Wellington on Saturday is the only meeting of the old rivals ahead of their clash in Yokohama on September 21st, a match that should set the World Cup alight on day two of the tournament.

Hansen says both teams are in a building process and plenty can happen in two months, stripping this week's match of a bragging rights element.

"I guess it will give whoever wins it a little confidence going in to the World Cup, but it won't mean whoever wins this one will automatically win the one in the World Cup," he said.

South Africa are holding centenary celebrations for the life of the inspirational former prisoner and president, who would have turned 100 years in 2018. Mandela passed away on December 5, 2013.

The Blitzboks sevens side will wear Madiba-style jerseys at their home tournament in Cape Town, in the second leg of the men’s World Sevens Series.

The jersey’s green-and-gold design is reportedly inspired by the “intricately patterned shirts Madiba was famous for wearing”, along with Proteas and Springboks.

The Springboks shocked the All Blacks with a 36-34 victory in Wellington last month and looked set to pull off a double when they led 30-13 with 20 minutes remaining on Saturday.

Steve Hansen's side had been outplayed and starved of the ball for much of their final match of the tournament, but Scott Barrett's try four minutes from time set up a tense finale.

There was one final twist, Ardie Savea ploughing his way over in the final minute and Richie Mo'unga converting to gain revenge for the world champions.

After a surprise away win in New Zealand last month, Kolisi is awaiting a backlash in the last match for both teams in this year's southern hemisphere competition.

"Obviously the All Blacks have already won the Rugby Championship, but we have heard them speaking of the fact that they are coming here with a real desire to win this one," Kolisi said.

South Africa's 36-34 win in Wellington was only the fourth time the New Zealanders have lost since they won the 2015 World Cup.

The All Blacks face South Africa at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday morning in the last game in this year's southern hemisphere Rugby Championship.

The encounter is much anticipated after the Springboks pulled off an upset 36-34 win over the world champions in Wellington last month in a result that led to some New Zealand soul-searching.

"We learnt we can't just expect to turn up and have things go our way all the time," Read said.

"We've got to have plans in place to rectify those things and I guess as a captain we try and manage the game as best we can."

The Springboks host the All Blacks at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria in the last game for both in this year's tournament and have also been drawn together in the same group at the World Cup in Japan, where they will meet in Yokohama on Sept. 21 in the opening Pool B game.

Last month South Africa, who have taken some heavy beatings from the New Zealanders in recent years, upset the odds to win 36-34 at Wellington to breath some intrigue back into their rivalry.

The All Blacks would have defended the title with two rounds to play had they secured a bonus-point victory, but made a host of uncharacteristic errors as the Springboks withstood a late onslaught to win a Wellington thriller 36-34.

Hansen stated in his post-match news conference that he heard a call saying two South Africa players were offside in the closing stages of a breathless contest.

But the head coach added that referee Nigel Owens would have made the decision had he heard it.
