Sienna Miller on why her new role is not 'just a wife'

So much so that she altered a script when she thought Nina Fawcett was appearing as too much of a stereotypical "wife" - with the director framing the scrawled-on piece of paper.

The film - based on a true story - is about explorer Percy Fawcett, played by Charlie Hunnam, and his quest to find a mysterious lost city in the heart of the Amazon.

His first mission in 1906, accompanied by surveying partner Henry Costin (played by Robert Pattinson), sees them return with apparent evidence that this previously undiscovered community exists.

Lindsay Lohan's new TV show

The actress tweeted a trailer for what she says is her new show.

"The Anti-Social Network" has the 30-year-old secretly taking over people's social media accounts as they complete challenges for prizes.

"I'm back b****es," Lohan says in the video.

"Everybody knows you should never leave your phone lying around, especially near me," she continues. "I decided I'm going to hijack your social media -- your Instagram, your Snapchat, your Facebook, your Twitter, all of it -- for 24 hours."

'Beauty and the Beast' nabs $350 million worldwide

Of that total, $170 million came at theaters in North America.

The domestic total exceeded what people in the industry had expected, and it broke the record for the biggest box office opening in March. The record had been held by last year's opening of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." It's also the best opening weekend of 2017 so far.

Disney's blockbuster formula for rebooting tales as old as time

Starring Emma Watson, "Beauty and the Beast" is another reimagined tale for Disney that follows box office hits "Alice in Wonderland" (2010), "Maleficent" (2014), "Cinderella" (2015) and most recently, "The Jungle Book."

Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney Studios motion picture production, told CNN the company's strategy of adapting its animated classics for contemporary audiences can be traced back to Walt Disney himself.

TV crew, tourists, scientist injured in surprise explosion on Sicilian volcano

The crew, along with a number of tourists, were drawn to Etna in Sicily to observe the spectacle of the active volcano erupting but were caught by surprise when flowing magma hit thick snow, causing an explosion that caused rock and other material to rain down upon them.

Volcanic rocks and steam from the eruption injured at least 10 people, witnesses and media reported, and the network's science reporter who was on assignment on Etna, Rebecca Morelle, described the experience in a series of tweets.

'Beauty and the Beast' serves up sumptuous feast

A quarter-century later, the live-action version sumptuously holds up to that legacy, delicately expanding upon and updating the original in enormously crowd-pleasing fashion.

Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon confirmed

It's been created by Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro, the executive producers behind the original show.

Young Sheldon will star Iain Armitage as a nine-year-old Sheldon Cooper, one of the main characters in the hit show.

Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon, will narrate the new show as the adult Sheldon.

Zoe Perry will take on the role of Sheldon's mother - the character is played by Zoe's real mother Laurie Metcalf in Big Bang Theory.

Ian McKellen calls 'Beauty and the Beast' gay controversy 'rubbish'

"People who don't like the idea of gay characters appearing in fairy stories should think what they would think if they were gay themselves and why should they be excluded?" McKellen told CNN at the film's New York premiere Monday.

Pop Star Cameos

He's set to make a cameo appearance in the seventh season of Game of Thrones.

What role he'll be playing is still under wraps, but let's hope it won't be as prominent as his album is in the charts or no other actors will get a look in.

It's not even Ed's first cameo appearance in a TV show - he previously appeared (and sang) in a 2015 episode of Home and Away.
