Hooker signs with Tigers

Koroisau, who is fresh off his premiership-winning season at the Panthers, has become the fifth NRL player to settle his future with a rival club for 2023 this off-season.

The 29-year-old, who re-joined the Panthers in 2020, is the second player recruited by the joint venture for the 2023 season after Parramatta forward Isaiah Papali'i agreed to terms last week.

Koroisau's pending Wests Tigers move will be for two seasons with a mutual option for a third.

Tigers re-sign Nemani Nadolo

The outside-back joined Tigers in the summer of 2020 and has made nine appearances and scored five tries for Leicester since debuting during the recommenced 2019/20 campaign.

Nadolo has made 30 Test appearances for Fiji, including starring for the Pacific Island nation in the inaugural Autumn Nations Cup last season.

Sale's Manu Tuilagi has changed tack, taking a knee a week after he remained standing at Harlequins

Following a week where there was much commentary about how Sale and their large contingent of South African players had lined up prior to their loss at Harlequins, the matter even being raised by politicians in South Africa, Tuilagi was one of five Sharks players who took a knee at the AJ Bell Stadium.

The Sale South African contingent, which included recent World Cup winners Faf de Klerk and Lood de Jager, remained standing but they did wear Rugby Against Racism t-shirts their kneeling colleagues also had on.

Warriors upset Tigers in Sydney

It's the Auckland club's first National Rugby League win in four games and comes after four players returned to New Zealand this week to be with their families, ending their involvement in the competition.

Peta Hiku bagged a brace of tries while Tohu Harris scored the match winner.

The Warriors trailed by six points at half-time but two pieces of brilliance from Hiku on the left edge pushed the visitors ahead 20-14 after an hour.

Benji Marshall ices match-winning drop goal as Tigers edge Cowboys in thriller

Against the Cowboys on Friday night, Michael Maguire's men rolled out their whole rollercoaster repertoire before pulling off one of the great escapes of the season thanks to a controversial late penalty try and the boot of Benji Marshall, who celebrated his return to the Kiwis squad this week by landing the match-winning golden point.

The Tigers arrived in Townsville with their backs to the wall after being thrashed by the Raiders in front of their home fans seven days earlier.

Injury-ravaged Warriors outclass Tigers

Bouncing back from last week's 50-10 humiliation at the hands of Melbourne, the hosts on Saturday night handed the Tigers their third straight loss and their biggest defeat of the season.

Dampening any major celebrations was the sight of key playmakers Issac Luke (arm/shoulder) and Shaun Johnson (leg) escorted from the field in the second half.

That veteran hooker Luke was even playing was remarkable given the club had initially said his knee injury suffered against the Storm required a four-week break.
