UK album chart

Rolling Stones top UK album chart with Blue & Lonesome

It notched up 106,000 combined sales across all platforms - the second highest opening week sales so far this year behind David Bowie's Blackstar.

Blue & Lonesome is the 12th album by The Rolling Stones to reach number one.

The Official Charts Company said 95,000 of the album's sales were physical - the rest were downloads and streams.

It was also the only new entry in this week's top 40.

Frank Ocean beats Dolly Parton and David Brent to UK number one

The R&B singer's album Blonde has had combined sales of 32,000, including 26,000 downloads, since being released via iTunes and Apple Music on Saturday.

That put it ahead of Dolly Parton's 43rd studio album Pure & Simple.

And David Brent's Life On The Road, the soundtrack for Gervais's new film of the same name, is at number three.

Canadian rapper Drake is at number four with Views, followed by Bob Marley, whose compilation Legend is a non-mover at number five.
