Tonga announces Public Holiday to mark Crown Prince’s birthday

Tonga will observe a public holiday on Thursday to celebrate the 35th birthday of Crown Prince Tupoutoʻa ʻUlukalala.

The Crown Prince is the eldest son HM King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u.

He became the heir apparent in 2012, when his father ascended to the throne.

The Crown Prince is currently residing in Canberra, Australia with Crown Princess Sinaitakala Tukuʻaho and their three children as he studies for a Master of Diplomacy, at the Australian National University.

In 2018, he attained Master of Military and Defence accredited by ANU.
