The Tonga Police Force will be accepting applications for the role of recruit constables.
The force has issued an alert to the public that they are looking forward to accepting expressions of interest for the position.
Tonga Police said “Applicants are invited from enthusiastic young men and women with an interest in serving and working with the community to make our Kingdom a safe, secure and a crime-free Tonga.”
Applicants must:
- Successfully pass Tonga National Form Seven Certificate of higher qualification
- Have a high level of physical fitness
- Have both a driver’s license and personal bank account
Tonga Police said the recruit application forms are available in all police stations in Tongatapu and Outer Islands, Human Resources Office and Tonga Police Training Office at the Headquarters Longolongo.
“Applicants must present birth certificate, marriage certificate if married, educational qualifications certificates and copy of driver’s license.”
“Please note that this extends the previous Expression of Interest that was closed on November 30th, 2022. Applicants who have previously applied from that timeframe do not need to re-apply.”
