Police in Tonga are investigating reports that a woman poured hot dripping on her de facto husband’s body.
The 27 year old victim suffered burns and other injuries in the alleged attack at Pea last week.
The suspect, who is in her late 20’s, was arrested and charged.
Radio Tonga reports the incident eventuated from a brawl between the couple.
