Tongan business woman nominated for Commonwealth Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Tongan Business woman Elizabeth Sullivan known as Liz has been nominated from Tonga and the Pacific Region for the Commonwealth Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

 

Sullivan operates many businesses in the Kingdom of Tonga.

On the list is the well-known and popular bar and restaurant called Billfish.

She also owns a catering business, liquor store and conference room for meetings and events in Nuku’alofa.

The 2nd Commonwealth Businesswomen Awards in 2015 on the eve of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and 1st Women’s Forum will be held in Malta next week.

After CHOGM, CBN will be in contact with the nominees of the Commonwealth Businesswomen Award to discuss how the award relates to the Commonwealth’s work on women's economic empowerment’s and entrepreneurship in particular.

The Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network (CBN) has arranged for these upcoming events to mark and empower women economically across the Globe.

CBN is an accredited organization focused on women’s economic empowerment recognized by 53 governments across five continents.
