Last month the former New Zealand hockey international and the All Blacks legend announced the birth of Charlotte Rose McCaw - their first child.
Last night Gemma posted a picture of the couple on her Instagram feed showing Richie holding young Charlotte, who gazes at her mother taking the picture.
Gemma's New Year's Day post reads, "Happy new year from our family to yours 2018 was a very special year for us with the safe arrival of our beautiful baby girl. Wishing everyone an abundance of health and happiness for the year ahead #happynewyear".
