Mate Ma'a Tonga take on world champions Australia in Auckland on Saturday in-front of a sell-out crowd of over 26,000 at Mount Smart Stadium.
The overwhelming majority will be decked out in Tongan red and white to celebrate their team's first match with the Kangaroos.
After about 4000 fans gathered to welcome Tonga to New Zealand last week and more than 2000 watched the team train on Wednesday, lock Jason Taumalolo said their passion and commitment was unique.
"I'm not used to it and I don't think the boys are either," Taumalolo said.
