The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met dozens of people during the last day of their official visit to the kingdom of Tonga.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met Prime Minister Samuela ‘Akilisi Pohiva and Cabinet Ministers.

Their day continued at the Fa’onelua Centre where they saw firsthand traditional Tongan handicraft.

’Eiki ‘Anaukihesina Ma’afu put on the Tongan traditional necklace as soon they arrived at the house of Fa’onelua.

The royal couple also met some of Tonga’s traders and craftsmen.

They were also kind enough to wear a faka-Ha’apai ta’ovala which is a Tongan traditional attire from the island of Ha’apai.

The royal couple also had an audience with their royal highnesses King Tupou VI and Queen Nanisipau’u.

Prince Harry brought smiles to many faces especially a little boy who was holding a banner which read “free hugs from Prince Harry is accepted”.

In the afternoon, the royal couple toured Tupou College which is one of the oldest schools in the Pacific, founded by a British missionary in 1866.

Toloa boys serenaded the Duke and Duchess with ‘Swing Low” and performed some dances.

Six weeks of practicing the song every day after school paid off for the boys, as their rendition of the song was warmly acknowledged by the royal couple.
