An investigation is underway over the death of a 67-year-old man from Ma’ufanga, on Sunday following an incident at Vuna Road in Nuku’alofa.
It is alleged that the victim was assaulted near his home on Friday night.
He died at Viola Hospital yesterday (Sunday).
Police arrested a 19-year-old man from Maúfanga on Sunday in relation to the death of the 67-year-old man.
An investigation is continuing to determine the full circumstances of the man’s death.
