Viliami Takau Jnr has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Tonga Ministry of Tourism, effective today, Thursday 13 April, 2023.
Takau signed his contract this morning.
A statement said it will be for four years.
Takau took his oath before Fekitamoeloa 'Utoikamanu, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism.
That was witnessed by members of his family and the Commission for Public Service this morning.
