Siosiua Vaiangina and Viliami Fatongiatau have received scholarships to further their studies in New Zealand
They will be studying towards the Pacific Island Fisheries Officer Certificate at Nelson Malborough Institute of Technology.
The course provides practical skills in fishing techniques, equipment maintenance, sustainable fisheries management and compliance.
The Scholarship has been awarded under the New Zealand funded Short Term Training Awards.
