Human remains found on Seattle beach by TikTok filmers identified

The officials in the US city named the victims as Jessica Lewis, 35, and her boyfriend, Austin Wenner, 27. A homicide investigation has begun.

The two were shot dead, and their bodies then put in bags and dumped.

The teenagers spotted a suitcase containing one of the bags on a beach in west Seattle and alerted police.

The teenagers' footage was recorded on 19 June and posted the following day on Tiktok, a video-sharing platform.

In the video, one girl from the group is seen opening the black suitcase with a stick and then complaining of a terrible smell.

Three men charged after Thai raid finds body in freezer

A police officer was injured during Friday's raid on the four-storey building in Bangkok, where guns and drugs were also found.

Thai police suspected the building in the Phra Kanong district was being used as a passport-forging operation.

The UK Foreign Office said it was looking into reports that one of the men could be British.

"We are seeking further information from the local authorities following reports that a British national has been arrested in Thailand," a spokesman said.

Body parts discovered during Thailand raid

Officers haven't identified the remains found Friday but said they believe the body parts belong to a Caucasian male.

Local police said one officer was hurt in the sting while struggling with one of the suspects over a gun. The officer was hit in the hip area, police said.

Police also recovered 10 passports, according to Maj. Gen. Suwat Chaengyodsuk. He said officers found "certain types of equipment found in the room (that) can be used to produce fake passports."
