Digicel ON, Worries OFF puts Tongan Customers in Control

Digicel Tonga today announced the launch of yet another new ground-breaking innovation ‘Digicel ON, Worries OFF’ which puts our valued customers in control of their data usage and spend.

Going forward, the customer experience will be dramatically improved as Digicel Tonga has implemented a new system where our customers will get a text message (SMS) before they finish their existing bundle.  Customers can then buy more data on My Digicel App or by dialling a short code e.g. *141#, and selecting a plan to suit their needs.  Customers will continue to have the option to “Pay as You Go.

Digicel ON, Worries OFF now gives customers control with no out-of-bundle data charges without their permission, avoiding any unexpected shocks when the bundle chosen has runs out. Our customers will have the choice to benefit from the new system, also will continue to have the option to “Pay As You Go. 

Digicel Tonga Chief Executive Officer, Ben Kealy said,” Customer Experience is one of our unique differentiators, consequently Customer Experience improvement is an on-going journey for us, to ensure that we are providing the best and most delightful customer experience in the Kingdom Tonga.” 

Mr. Kealy went onto say: “The launch of Digicel ON, Worries OFF is another new development in the Kingdom marking our commitment in Tonga and is timely with the re-opening of our Flagship Store in Nuku’alofa.  The store was partially destroyed during the recent TC GITA – some five weeks ago now”.  

In concluding, Mr. Kealy said: “We are focused on providing the best service to our customers, offering them great value and adapting our business to better meet our customers’ needs particularly their data consumption needs.  Now Digicel customers can browse the internet without any worry of losing their credit.”
