Bankruptcy will not stop The Laughing Samoans from performing

The Wellington act, performed by Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea'i, are a popular live comedy act.

The pair, who started performing in 2003 and have a show on Maori Television, regularly tour in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific islands with sell out shows.

Last month Fepulea'i was declared bankrupt in the High Court in Wellington.

The proceeding was brought to court by the Inland Revenue (IRD) but it was not revealed how much debt the 42-year-old owed.

The Laughing Samoans Facebook page said Tofiga of course had to rib him about the Wallabies loss referring to the 42-8 thrashing received at the hands of the All Blacks.

Christian was reportedly touched by All Blacks coach Steve Hansen wishing him well before the test on Saturday night.

Laughing Samoans bring Christmas cheer to children in hospital

The children for a brief moment forgot about their pain and watched in awe of their favourite stars, Tofiga Fepulea‘i and Etuati Ete who are the Laughing Samoans.

The special show was a hit with parents, visitors and hospital staff as they took a break from their routine activities to be entertained by the duo.

Some members of the public said the show was an early Christmas  treat for the children as they enjoyed themselves.

Children cheered and laughed while some jumped up and down in excitement.

Laughing Samoans to perform in Tonga

Tofiga Fepulea‘i and Etuati Ete have scheduled two performances to raise funds for the Tae Kami Foundation, Walk on Walk Strong (WOWS).

The organisation is a support group for children with cancer and other life threatening conditions.

The Laughing Samoans will perform to the theme “Fink About it” tonight and tomorrow night at the Queen Salote Hall.

A popular Fijian entertainment group, Rako will also perform at the shows.

The Laughing Samoans will visit the Children’s Ward at Vaiola Hospital tomorrow to meet children and help promote Tae Kami Foundation.
