Stranded Tongan Olympians "in good spirits"

As reported by Stuff, members of the travelling contingent from Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga - whose National Olympic Committees (NOCs) are all part of the Oceania National Olympic Committees (ONOC) - quarantined for 14 days as they returned from the Games to New Zealand.

The athletes were unable to fly directly to or from the Japanese capital, having to transit in New Zealand at the expense of their NOCs.

E! News recently caught up with Alessandra Ambrosio at the Omega House's Gold Night celebration for medal-winning athletes in Rio, and when asked to weigh in who's the fiercest competitor between Olympians and Victoria's Secret models, she didn't hesitate to answer. 

"Well, you know we do work very hard, but the athletes. It's hours and hours and they give everything they can," the Brazilian beauty dished.
