Instant winners Digicel SMS Game

The Game started on Thursday 16th November till the last day of the month, 30th November at 11:59pm.

The SMS Game has been running for weeks now with instant cash prize winners awarded to random Digicel customers who have won on a particular day.

Paula Misa of Havelu and Vika Latu of Vava’u were delighted to be awarded with the first and second instant winners of the SMS Game with $100 Cash each.

Instant winners are not only awarded with cash but with also Digicel credit to 10 lucky winners.

Lighting of the biggest Christmas Tree in Tonga

This is an annual event hosted by Digicel Tonga to the public and with the driving of its Christmas Campaign with a theme ‘Bringing Joy Home this Christmas’.

The event kicked off with a Santa Parade from Faua Wharf to the Digicel Square lead by the military band and followed by supporters, customers and staffs of Digicel Tonga.

Activities such as jumping castle, face paint, colouring section and Christmas photo booth for kids was lined up for the event.

At the official launch, Digicel Tonga announced that it has invested in the upgrade of over 50% of its sites across the Kingdom of Tonga with 4G+ services and coverage includes the main islands of Tongatapu, Vava’u and Ha’apai.  This is the cornerstone of a US$1.7m investment which demonstrates Digicel’s commitment to improving its communications services to the people of Tonga.  

Pinktober Winners with Digicel

Digicel put out a brand new Samsung Galaxy s8 as the grand prize and $500 pa’anga as the 2nd prize.

The winner for the brand new Galaxy S8 was Paula Misa of Havelu and the second winner of $500 cash was Taniela Fangaake of Kolomotu’a.

With this text to win competition, customers were encouraged to send the word PINK to 7465 for $0.50 and for more chance to get.

The competition also had few instant prizes such as cash instant giveaway of $100 for 7 lucky winners on the spot and with FREE credit.

Diaspora Winners on World Cup Promotion

With this cash promotion, locals in Tonga can actually go into a weekly draw to win $200TOP Cash with Diaspora Top Up.

Digicel present auction prizes to Tonga Breast Cancer Society

Auction Prizes consisted of a Samsung Galaxy A5 Smartphone and Top Up Credit with the value of $200 TOP.

Digicel Tonga is currently running a promotion across all its stores with every smartphone sold, $1 is donated towards the Tonga Breast Cancer Society.

Fe’ao Lesalo joins Digicel Tonga Senior Management Team

A Tongan national, Fe’ao brings a wealth of finance knowledge and a strong network of business associates in Tonga to the role. She joined Digicel in November 2012 as a Revenue and Direct Cost Accountant and has since been a key player in streamlining processes and procedures in the Finance department - while ensuring full accountability and transparency.    

Digicel announces diaspora Winner for September

The campaign will run for a total of 8 weeks giving Digicel customers a chance to win easy cash when receiving top up from families, relative and friends from New Zealand, Australia & United State of America.

Girl's Guide Camp hosted by Talitha Project ends

Talitah Project hosted the one-week camp with a vision to empower young women so that can be leaders one day.

The camp also gave the young women the opportunity to visit the Parliament of Tonga as an introduction or way to inspire them to be great leaders.

 The young women were also able to meet and greet the Customer Care Manager for Digicel Tonga, Mrs Siutaula Tonga.

Mrs Tonga deliver a speech based on her experiences as a female manager.

Digicel helps empower young women in Tonga

She shared her experience, her upbringing and her inspiration that got her to where she is today. 

Her speech was focused around developing the right skills, to have a voice and to be bold in making the right decisions that will lead you onto the right path as a leader.

Mrs Tonga is one of four women that holds Digicel Tonga's Senior Management Team. 

Digicel has worked closely with the Talitha Project by providing internet service to the centre and also help address the issues of violence against women in Tonga.
