The Six Nations opens on Sunday with even more intrigue than in recent years, with added pressure for teams of getting it all together ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

All 12 games featuring three-test series showing New Zealand hosting Ireland, England in Australia, Wales’ tour to South Africa and Scotland’s tour to Argentina are live on 3 successive weekends, starting on July 2 through to July 17.

Additionally, there will be 2 more mid-week matches featuring the Maori All Blacks against Ireland on June 29 and July 12 shown live on Digicel TV.

Digicel TV lands Commonwealth Games live coverage for 2022

Every four years the Commonwealth country’s athletes come together to participate in various sports.

The Birmingham Games will take place from Thursday, 28 July to Monday, 8 August 2022. Digicel TV will broadcast events live on a dedicated channel while there will be selected live events on a second channel to cover Pacific athletes’ events.

Digicel TV acquires rights for UEFA Nations League live coverage

The UEFA Nations League is a new competition structure comprising 16 teams in Leagues A, B and C and 7 teams in League D.

The teams are allocated to leagues based on the overall ranking following the previous year’s UEFA Nations League.

League A features 4 Groups with leading teams such as World Cup Finalists, France, Euro Champions, Italy, current FIFA number 2 ranked team of Belgium, and 2021 Nations League runners up Spain leading the 4 groups.

Digicel TV extends Premier League partnership through to 2025

The 24/7 exclusive Premier League channel, which was first launched in 2016, will give fans comprehensive live broadcasts of matches, commentary, analysis and in-depth behind-the-scenes content, including documentaries, and classic archive footage.

There will also be training ground reports, manager and player interviews, match previews and reviews. In addition TVWAN Sports will broadcast a number of live matches every weekend. The new three-year deal will see Digicel TV remain the League’s exclusive broadcast partner in the Pacific until 2025.

Live Premier League football will be back with the opening fixture on Saturday August 14 as newly-promoted Brentford take on Mikel Arteta's Arsenal at 8 am.

Digicel TV to show all matches exclusively of UEFA Euro 2020

UEFA Euro 2020, postponed from last year due to the start of the global pandemic, kicks-off on Saturday morning, 12th June 2021, when Turkey face Italy at 8 am.

Fans can look forward to a total of 51 matches across the tournament - 36 matches over three Group rounds, with the knockout stages of Round of 16,

Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and the Final to be played on Monday, 12th July at Wembley.

European Champions Club Rugby Battle on Digicel TV

The Heineken Champions Cup will see three French teams with one from Ireland as there are no English clubs in the top four for the fourth time in the past 11 years.

Four-time winners, Toulouse, will go head-to-head with Heineken Cup semi-final first-timers, Bordeaux-Begles, on Sunday at 3am.

In the second semi-final, recent nominee for European Player of the Year, Flying Fijian center, Levani Botia and his La Rochelle side make their debut in this stage when they take on top Irish club and four-time champion, Leinster, on Monday at 3am.
